Favorite book and why?
Building a Storybrand by Donald Miller.
Don breaks down what it means to create and tell a powerful story that connects your business/product/service with your audience. He uses the time tested framework of almost every successful book or movie and puts it into an incredibly easy to understand and actionable format.
Before you implement fancy tools and cool technology you need to understand how your story is the foundation that everything else is built on. Your strategy and tactics won’t be nearly as effective without the power of your story included.
A must read!
Favorite ice cream?
Vanilla with chocolate chips and cherries.
What’s one thing people wouldn’t know about you just by looking at you?
They wouldn’t know I used to weigh 70 pounds more than I weigh today. Several years ago I got serious about my health, changed my lifestyle, embraced exercising and eating right (most of the time). I was able to reverse fatty liver disease, high blood pressure, pre-diabetes among a host of other mental and physical problems by losing the weight.
Today, I facilitate a Facebook group where I continue to share my journey and encourage others who want to live a healthier life.

“Anyone can get lucky, not everyone can persevere.” – Ryan Holiday

If I can only choose one, it would be cold coffee.

Dark chocolate, 85% or higher.
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a gold medal for?
Getting out of bed. While it’s somewhat tongue in cheek I don’t like staying in bed longer than I need too. I’d rather be up and doing something than laying around.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
What fad or trend do you hope comes back?
80’s Arena Rock
