Favorite book and why?
The Bible is hands-down my favorite. I’m an avid reader and am currently in the process of reading it through again—I think it’s my ninth time.
But beyond the Bible, my favorite is The Dream Giverby Bruce Wilkinson. It’s such an inspiring read.
Favorite ice cream?
Strawberry Cheesecake
What’s one thing people wouldn’t know about you just by looking at you?
I’m a living donor—I donated my left kidney in 1997
Favorite quote?
“Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.” –Thomas Edison
Coffee or tea, hot or cold?
Coffee hot
What is the title of the current chapter of your life?
Hang On—God’s Got You!
Favorite candy?
Maple Nut Goodies or Bit-O-Honey
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a gold medal for?
Writing—I’m blessed to think fast and type fast, which helps me accomplish a lot in a shorter amount of time. Copywriting and book blurbs would especially put me in the running for a win.
I suspect I could have a pretty good shot at winning a medal for Marketing Strategy as well.
What is one song you have completely memorized?
I’m a Believer by the Monkees (I change the words just a bit and sing it to Jesus when I’m alone in my car. I may or may not have embarrassed myself by forgetting my window was down at a stoplight while belting this song out.)
What fad or trend do you hope comes back?
Respect: for parents, elders, authority figures, those who serve the public, and our fellow woman or man. It disheartens me to see how self-centered and disrespectful our society has become—generally speaking. It lifts my spirits to see someone show respect to another human being.
